1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double
The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest in the Baby Jogger range. It's designed to travel and easily fits through the majority of normal doors thanks to its slim design, it's also one of the most lightweight double buggies on the market weighing just 14lbs when folded. This makes it perfect for traveling with a newborn and a toddler because you won't have to exceed the luggage allowances of airlines. It can also be folded into the size of the size of a small travel bag so you can store it in the back seat of your car.
The one-handed, Z-shape fold is a breeze and it's extremely compact once you get the hang of it. It takes a few seconds to unfold. However our tester found the auto lock a bit confusing and as the handlebar isn't locked to its place when you press it, it landed on her legs when she used it. She also felt that the handlebar was a little shorter than she would like particularly with a large changing bag hanging off it.
In contrast to other travel buggies that are lightweight that aren't loaded with features and is one of the most comprehensive double strollers on the market. It is compatible with two carrycots (available separately) It also has various recline positions, and a UV 50+ canopy. You can also add an additional bassinet to either or both seats to make it a travel system.
The four rubber composite wheels are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain however they're not made for off-roading. They struggled on long grass and gravel and there's not much clearance between the bracket and the wheel, so mud got stuck easily. Our testers loved this buggy, and it was able to climb pretty hillocks that were muddy.

It's not as easy to use on public transport as it requires two hands on the handlebar. It's also a bit bulky and won't fit into the standard car boot for families with the seat on, but this is a problem that can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy include a footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters in the price, so it's an excellent value bundle for new parents.

The 360-degree swivel wheel can be locked to allow for easier maneuvering around town. The one-pedal easy lock brake is also simple to use.
Our testers found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or when turning on a busy road. They were also amazed by the fact that both seats recline independently. This means they can be adjusted to fit individual needs - ideal for napping.
The hoods were also simple to adjust for wind or sun protection. Our testers did discover however that they didn't offer the same amount of coverage as similar to the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods and it's worth packing a rain cover in case of need.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the way the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla on all sorts of adventures, from spotting wildlife in the woods to rushing to the park for a playdate. The testers were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There is plenty of room for growing toddlers. The absence of parent-facing seating and the inability of using a car seat with this buggy were noted as a disadvantage by our test participants. They would have also wanted a bigger storage space for shopping and other equipment.
